Re: Latex output bugs?
I like it. One thing I noticed that I didn't notice before. If I include a programmatic section is seems to need "\usepackage{amsmath}" for the "Done" messages that use \text Please find example attached. I normally use a bash script to remove "hidden" sections from the tex file because I don't want...

Re: Latex output bugs?
I am trying to compile the unstable bzip2 source file under cygwin. I am getting missing include file errors. I downloaded the source tarballs for GMP, GNU readline, FLTK, MPFR, gsl, NTL (there is a windows version also, don't know which one to use), CoCoA, and PARI. Unfortunately, I don't know how ...

Re: Latex output bugs?
I noticed the xcas64inst.exe was updated 24-Oct-2020. Does it include your code?

Re: Latex output bugs?
This appears to be exactly what I'm looking for. Is there a way for me to get a copy of this update?

Re: Latex output problems
I am very willing to try that.
I think there were errors in the legacy code when outputting calculations with units. I was working with that before.
I would like to have the flexability to choose which code to use. I think I can make that work for what I need.
Thanks,
Matt

Re: Latex output problems
Unfortunately the feature I described in this post, which you added and helps me a lot, seems to have been lost in the latest update. Could you fix it so all products are identified with a "dot" to eliminate confusion in variable names? Or make it an option? For example, "m*a*s*s" would look like "m...

Re: Latex output bugs?
Thanks. I think the most troublesome error is caused by the underscore after the = sign, before \left (see attached image)

Latex output bugs?
I have been using the latex output for elegant printouts of work and when I started to use units in the calculations I think I noticed a few bugs. Please find attached a diff printout of the tex file produced by Xcas with the modifications I needed to do to prevent errrors when creating a PDF. When ...

Re: Latex preview
Sorry, just one more question. When you said "I could get it running by starting xcas from my cygwin64 bash (it's the same bash as in /c/xcas64)." did you mean compiling Xcas in cygwin64 or just running stock Xcas from a cygwin64 bash window?

Re: Latex preview
I got the script modified to pipe just the command from stderr to a shell, but I can't get the pipe to flush until Xcas closes. Almost worked. Is there any way to reenable a call to a script in windows when I click "latex preview"?
Thanks again,
Matt

Re: Latex preview
I was trying to use grep in the xcas directory and got missing cygpcre-1.dll It appears the cygwin version is 2.0.0 (in cygwin1.dll). Do you know where I can find cygpcre-1.dll for that version? (still working on this) I think it would be great if I can effectively get a latex preview working from i...
