Hi,

I've installed now yesterday's xcasinst.exe and it doesn't work anymore in Win98. Since all the included cygwin-DLLs are very new versions which don't support Win98 anymore, I guess that the Win98 compatibility of Xcas is definitely over now after this summer break, right?

BTW, this should be no complaint but just a question ;) , I know how much work it is to still maintain also a Win98 version besides all those other releases!

Not necessary. I have still an old install of cygwin, I may update from time to time (e.g. once or twice a year) the win98-compatible version.
